Work Schedule : Part-time, 90% FTE day shift position. Monday xe2x80x93 Friday between the hours of 8:30AM xe2x80x93 5:00PM, one day off every pay period, no weekends required. We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to: Join our team of experienced psychiatric specialists who provide assessment, treatment and management of physiological and psychological health for children and adults through patient consultation, outpatient and inpatient care and programs. Support the Interventional Psychiatry program by facilitating our Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) program which involves the use of short-pulsed magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain. TMS is an outpatient procedure used to treat depression. Assist in the treatment delivery of esketamine. Esketmamine is a medication, administered in the clinic, to treat depression. Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education. Education : Minimum – High School Diploma or equivalent and ONE of the following: Completion of an accredited medical assistant program OR Licensure as an LPN OR Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program OR Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee OR Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program xe2x80x93 Accelerated OR One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification Work Experience : Preferred xe2x80x93 One (1) year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN Licenses and Certifications : Minimum xe2x80x93 Certified as CMA, RMA, or CCMA or eligible for certification. Certification must be obtained within one (1) year of hire date. If applying in lieu of Medical Assistant education or LPN licensure, must have current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification.
