Visit www.qtcm.com for more information What part would you play in this role? As a Medical Assistant you interact directly with patients daily. Your professionalism and empathy will greatly enhance the patient experience, making the patients feel more comfortable and cared for. You are crucial in keeping the clinic running smoothly by efficiently managing tasks, utilizing your clinical skills, supporting providers and communicating with your team and patients. In this rewarding role, you will: Work as a team Perform routine and basic front and back-office duties, to include phones, data entry Assist in the examination process of patients under the direction of a physician. Interview patients Record information on patients’ charts Draw and collect blood samples and/or urine samples from patients Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis Conduct a variety of diagnostic tests. EKGs, PFTs, Doppler studies, etc. You Must Have: High School diploma, or equivalent (GED) Graduated from an accredited vocational Medical Assistant program, and/or military equivalent (Medic, Hospital Corpsman) Must have a valid Medical Assistant license with the WA- Department of Health BLS certification is required. Must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Ability to organize plan and coordinate multiple tasks with a high sense of urgency and follow-through. Exceptional customer service skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain conditions that ensure a healthy and safe working environment. Technology driven medical data entry system experience or related computer data entry. Ability to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation. Ability to pass medical clearance that consists of passing an N95 respirator fit test, pass a Tuberculosis/TB test and receive a Hepatitis A/B vaccine series or pass a Hepatitis A/B Titer test. Prefer to Have: Medical Assistant Certification/Registration preferred Experience in multiple medical specialties. Typical Day: Initial training = First 3 weeks which includes possible travel to sister office for multiple days of training. Position is located ONSITE at our clinic in: 2201 S. 19th Street Suite 100 Tacoma, WA 98405 Work Schedule xe2x80x93 Fri 8:00am- 5:00pm PST with 1hr lunch break. Possible weekends based on business needs. Pay, Benefits, and Level Requirements: Hourly Rate is based on years of experience and education. Offers also come with up to 6% quarterly bonus potential and an annual merit increase. Employee benefits are also available on first day of hire. MA Level I (0-1 yrs of exp. plus CMA and HS Diploma/GED) = $18.26- $20.19/hour MA Level II (1-3 yrs of exp. plus CMA and HS Diploma/GED) = $21.60- $23.87 /hour MA Level III (3-5 yrs of exp. plus CMA and HS Diploma/GED) = $24.44 – $27.02/hour MA Level IV (5-9 yrs of exp. plus NCMA certification and HS Diploma/GED) = $27.00- $29.69 /hour MA Level V (10+ yrs of exp. plus NCMA certification and AA Degree in Medical Assisting) = $30.21- $33.39 / hour Pay and benefits are fundamental to any career decision.
