Administer medications/immunizations, injections as directed Respond to general patient inquiries regarding treatment and clinic policies and procedures. Coordinate patient care with outside health agencies. May complete general administrative duties as assigned including; Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Disability and Return to Work forms, Electronic Medical Record in-basket messages, etc. Complete other clinical and non-clinical duties as assigned. Required Qualifications* High School Diploma or GED. Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program OR an equivalent combination of patient care related education and patient care experience 0-1 years of patient care experience for an Assistant level 1-3 years of patient care experience for an Associate level Knowledge of basic Medical Terminology Moderate standing/walking, as well as, lifting, positioning, pushing and/or transferring patient. Desired Qualifications* Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or (RMA). Experience working within a large complex outpatient health care setting. Familiarity with electronic medical records system. Work Schedule Full Time hours, 40 hours per week, weekday schedule will vary depending on location/clinic. May be occasional weekends.
