About us Root Hair Institute (RHI) is a comprehensive hair loss center. We offer thorough workup, diagnosis, and treatment for all forms of hair loss. Treatment includes topical agents, oral medications, LED devices, injections, scalp microneedling, scalp micropigmentation, and hair restoration surgery, including both follicular unit transfer (FUT) and follicular unit excision (FUE). Our team includes a board-certified dermatologist and two fellowship-trained hair restoration surgeons, and we are uniquely positioned to diagnose and treat all types of hair loss for all types of people. Start time can be as early as 6:45 AM. You should have availability later into the evenings as well in the case a surgery runs late. Experience working in dermatology, cosmetic or plastic surgery, or hair restoration required. This position will have a main focus on training as a hair tech, conducting consultations, assisting during surgery, and assisting with other hair related procedures. On the job training has a hair technician will be provided to the right candidate. Duties may include: prepping patients for surgery prepping surgical trays and procedure rooms obtaining vitals assisting surgeon during procedures including FUT and FUE dissecting grafts under the microscope placing grafts into sites going over post-operative instructions pre and post operative phone calls documentation into EMR potentially training new hair technicians assisting with and preparing PRP calling in prescriptions keeping an organized log of labs and pathology ordered and the results assisting doctors during consultations and procedures taking before/after photos maintaining professional patient etiquette in person and on the phone cleaning instruments after procedures cleaning up after the day post procedure hair washes We view a successful hair restoration practice as a team endeavor and value all members of our team.
