Apply today!Compensation:$17 – $20 hourlyResponsibilities:Greet patients, handle telephone calls, schedule appointments, and answer inquiries regarding treatment or prescription refills to make sure each patient has a great experience in our officeTake the patientxe2x80x99s vital signs including their pulse, body temperature, respiration rate, and blood pressure and record it in their chartObtain blood samples from patients and sent them to the laboratory for testingSpeak with the patient about the reason for their visit and record their personal information and medical history to share with the healthcare staffQualifications:Possesses basic computer skills to complete administrative tasks Graduated from high school or received GED Passed Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) exam to obtain certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or other certifying agencySolid communication and customer service skills Completed an accredited medical assisting program and an externship in a supervised healthcare settingOver 1 year of work experience as a medical assistant performing admin duties or similar role in a healthcare work environment BilingualAbout CompanyJoin our growing Neurology Practice specializing in Concussion/mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI).
