Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. The CMA will play a critical role in supporting healthcare professionals, providing high-quality patient care, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills to assist in patient assessments, treatment procedures, and office management. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, take patient vital signs, record medical histories, and prepare patients for treatments. Clinical Duties: Administer medications, perform basic laboratory tests, and handle specimen collection as needed. Assist in minor surgical procedures and ensure infection control practices are followed. Administrative Support: Schedule patient appointments, maintain accurate medical records, and process insurance paperwork. Manage patient communication, including answering calls and providing information. Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care. Act as a liaison between patients and the medical team to provide clear communication. Medical Equipment: Ensure medical equipment is properly sterilized, maintained, and ready for use. Assist in inventory management for medical supplies.
