Join Capstone Health on site in Robbinsdale, MN! We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in a medical setting, assisting healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care. This is a Temp/Travel Assignment! -13 weeks – 40 hour guarentee -Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 4:30PM Clinic Responsibilities Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of patient flow throughout clinic Standard rooming processes Giving medications as directed by provider (medications are minimal in cardiology and no immunizations/injections are given) Provide telephone support Facilitate communication between patients and providers Assist with medication refills Perform phlebotomy duties (training can be provided) Stocking supplies/rooms Perform EKGs Requirements A minimum of 1-year experience in a patient-care setting – Required Previous Clinic Work – Highly Preferred EKG Experience – Preferred EHR Experience – Preferred Blood Draw Experience – Preferred Medical Assistant Diploma – Required MA Diploma must be from a program that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHES BLS (AHA or ARC) – Required 2 Supervisory References with dates employed More About the Facility Primary care clinics focus on health maintenance, wellness, and managing chronic conditions, building a lifetime of trust and comprehensive health care between you and your providers, right in your own neighborhood.
